Why Quality Assurance Through Computed Tomography Matters

Why Quality Assurance Through Computed Tomography Matters

When you mass-produce everyday objects, you need to ensure that not only are your clients are happy but that their bottom-line consumer is happy with their experience of that product as well. If that experience turns into something negative—a busted pepper shaker ruining a meal at a restaurant, a wimpy coffee cup leaking just as the buyer sits down for their three-hour flight, or when someone buys a new pair of pricy headphones only to have them break two weeks later—if the client is not thrilled that could mean money walking out the door both for you and your client.

That is why quality assurance (QA) through computed tomography x-ray matters. Not because of the possibility that one product will have defects, but the reality that, without CT QA, hundreds of products are going to fail every week. The only question is whether we want those failing products to get to the consumer or not. If someone has a bad experience with a company several times, the customer will be gone. The best way to fix this is to prevent the faulty product from getting into the customer’s hand in the first place. The best issue is one that never comes up. This is where Trilion Quality Services and computed tomography come in.

With computed tomography, you get an inside view of your product using x-ray technology. You see what the inside of your product looks like from every angle, see if there are any defects, chips, or warpage, be it a pepper shaker, pair of headphones, or even a prosthetic. Imagine finding out that there is a consistent issue in the production process but being able to correct it before any product leaves the facility. With computed tomography, you can save lots of dollars, man-hours, and headaches with comparatively little effort. If you aren’t looking to buy a CT machine, mail your product to us at Trilion, and we will scan your product and send it back to you with the scanning data. To learn more, contact us here, and we’ll get back to you soon. In the meantime, check out our computed tomography page to learn more about the benefits of CT and the models available to you
