- Procurement & Cash Outflow Execution: Actively generate, submit, and track vendor POs for specialized aerospace parts, raw materials, and consulting services. Align outbound purchasing with active project budgets and firm-wide cash flow limits.
- Commercial & Vendor Relations: Serve as the primary financial and operational liaison for suppliers. Manage vendor relationships, negotiate or monitor payment terms to optimize cash timing, resolve pricing discrepancies, and proactively troubleshoot supply chain bottlenecks.
- Shared AP/AR & Accounting Support: Collaborate closely with the Accounting Manager to keep the daily financial engine moving. Provide reliable backup coverage and ongoing support for transactional accounts payable (AP) processing, customer milestone invoicing, collections data entry, and monitoring everyday cash requirements.
- Project Profitability & Cash Analysis: Utilize QuickBooks data to analyze real-time budget burn rates, track labor allocation, investigate budget variances, and provide leadership with clear visibility into project margins.
